TROTZ ALLEDEM
2026-2027 – 90 min – Bärbel, Jürgen, and Rudi are united not only by the fact that they grew up in the GDR and are active advocates for a socially just society. They are also all over 80 years old.
Despite their frail bodies and society’s shift to the right, they refuse to be discouraged. In the film, they cautiously reach out to the younger generation and show that hope and solidarity have no age limit.

HEIMGESUCHT
2025 – 75 min – as children, they experienced oppression, violence and homesickness in the „Kinderkurheim“ Johannaberg. Decades later, a group of that children who have now grown up return to the facility which they associate with traumatic experiences. Accompanied by the camera, they spend a weekend there, process their memories in scenes and try to find images for their suffering.
